About the Book

Chhatra Rajneeti Ka Patan

This book examines the emerging crisis of youth leadership in Madhya Pradesh and explores its causes, timing, and underlying circumstances. It also presents practical perspectives for addressing this challenge. To gain deeper insights, the author engaged with prominent leaders associated with student politics, including Ravindra Singh Bhati, Manish Yadav, Jaivardhan Singh, Ashutosh Chouksey, and Vipin Wankhede. Their experiences and perspectives form an important foundation of this book.

Although the book primarily focuses on student politics, its findings are equally relevant to mainstream politics. It is intended for readers interested in democracy, political leadership, youth participation, and student union elections.

The book aims to highlight the consequences of the prolonged suspension of student union elections and the neglect of youth leadership in public policy. It also draws attention to the potential leadership vacuum that may shape the future of Indian politics if these issues remain unaddressed.

The author hopes that this book will help readers understand the importance of student politics and encourage meaningful dialogue on the restoration of student union elections.

About the Author

Niranjan Gurjar

Author

Niranjan Gurjar is a young author, researcher, and journalism student whose work reflects a deep commitment to democracy, youth leadership, and social change. Born and raised in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, India, he inherited a strong sense of political awareness and public service from his father, a former village Sarpanch.

Currently pursuing Journalism and Mass Communication at Devi Ahilya University, Indore, Niranjan had aspired to begin his leadership journey through student union elections. However, the prolonged suspension of student elections in educational institutions deprived an entire generation of students of a vital democratic platform. This experience inspired him to undertake an in-depth study of student politics and its impact on youth leadership.
